Booking Policy – Melanated Moni Photography

• Thank you for choosing Melanated Moni Photography. We’re honored to capture your moments and create art that reflects your story. To ensure a smooth and professional experience, please review our booking policies below.

• 1. Booking & Deposits

• All sessions require a non-refundable retainer/deposit to secure your date and time.

• The deposit amount will be applied toward your total session fee.

• Bookings are confirmed only after payment and signed agreement are received.

• Remaining balances are due on or before the day of the session, unless otherwise specified.

• 2. Rescheduling & Cancellations

• We understand life happens. Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule.

• Reschedules: Must be requested at least 48 hours before the session.

• The deposit may be transferred to a new date (one reschedule allowed per booking).

• Cancellations: Deposits are non-refundable.

• Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session may require a new deposit to rebook.

• In the rare event that Melanated Moni Photography must reschedule, clients will be offered the next available date or a full refund of the deposit.

• 3. Late Arrivals

• Sessions begin and end at the scheduled times.

• Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may have their session time shortened or canceled without refund.

• Please arrive dressed and ready to shoot to maximize your time.

• 4. Weather & Outdoor Sessions

• For outdoor sessions, we monitor weather conditions closely.

• If weather is unfavorable (rain, lightning, etc.), we will reschedule your session at no extra cost.

• Cloudy or overcast conditions do not qualify for rescheduling, as they often provide ideal lighting.

• 5. Image Delivery

• Edited images are typically delivered within 7–14 business days via an online gallery or download link.

• Rush editing may be available for an additional fee.

• Unedited (RAW) images are not released, as they do not represent the final artistic vision.

• 6. Image Rights & Usage

• Melanated Moni Photography retains the copyright to all images.

• Clients receive personal usage rights for printing, sharing, and personal display.

• Images may be used for promotional or portfolio purposes only with client consent or model release.

• Commercial use or resale of images must be approved in writing.

• 7. No-Show Policy

• If a client fails to arrive or communicate within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, the session will be considered a no-show, and the deposit will be forfeited.

• 8. Refund Policy

• All payments are final. Refunds will only be issued if Melanated Moni Photography cancels a session and cannot reschedule.
